Having looked in to it the vets in my area are all owned by CVS and so no matter where I go the price is the same and I line th eir pockets. They were both local individual practices and I had no idea either had been taken over to be honest so when I changed pets unhappy with my service I had no idea and not one member of staff highlighted that they were all part of the same corporation.

I just got fleeced of £403 for a consultation, 1 Blood test, 1 Urine test. No pricing until during the consultation. I am disgusted.

£420 today following my dog being bitten by another. £280 to see out of hours vet on a Sunday. £56 for a bandage. £18 antibiotics with a £20 fee attached. £2.97 pain killer injection with £20 fee attached, and still got to visa own vet tomorrow to have it stitched. All plus VAT. You can’t tell me pet owners aren’t being taken advantage of.

Seems to be a common scam at the moment to charge for a course of unnecessary steroids. They have terrible side effects. Shows no commpasion for the dog at all.

The initial consultation fee at my Vets is just under £80. £80 for a 10-minute appointment! That's before any medication costs are added. It used to be £35.50 not too long ago. My cat just had simple blood tests done which cost £330 and they found nothing wrong. But my cat is still ill. So i'm already £410 out of pocket and still non-the-wiser as to why my cat is losing weight and struggling to walk. So after receiving these results, I returned to the surgery and had to pay another £80 consultation fee. They now want me to pay a further £780 for an ultrasound scan to find out what's wrong; but even that is not 100% guaranteed to find it. So I suggested maybe it could be arthritis in her back legs and the vet admitted it could very well be the case, but offered me no medication or treatment plan for that ailment. They went straight to the additional money route. So I could end-up £1270 down and still in the same position as when I first walked into the surgery. So now I have a dilemma- do I pay these astronomical amounts or do I cut my losses and have the cat euthanised? It's a lot of money. But something has to be done about these non-transparent charges- I don't think a blood test for humans even costs £330!!

Y'all want my opinion? Google sony exclusive titles and look how many there are and how well they do. This deal wouldn't hurt Sony in the slightest. Google PlayStation console sales compared to any other systems. Sony has even paid Activision for exclusive rights to game modes in CoD, guys! Hearing that then seeing their complaints should really show how much Sony is just mad they couldn't afford to do what Microsoft is doing.
